Eligibility Criteria for Creative Businesses

Creative businesses applying to be listed in the gallery:

1. Must be a small or medium business. This includes having:
a) 250 or less employees
b) An annual turnover not exceeding £46M (equivalent to 50M Euros)

2. Must have their main office in one of the following regions:
(a) City of Manchester
(b) City of Salford
(c) Stockport
(d) Tameside
(e) Trafford (Greater Manchester South)
(f) Bolton
(g) Bury
(h) Oldham
(i) Rochdale
(j) Wigan (Greater Manchester North)
(k) The former borough of Congleton
(l) The former borough of Macclesfield
(m) The former borough of Vale Royal
(n) Warrington

If you are unsure if your business is in one of these areas, please use the
postcode checker to ensure your address is eligible.

3. Must be a limited liability company, a limited liability partnership, a general partnership or an industrial or provident society
(please note that sole traders are not eligible and that if successful, general partnerships will be asked to submit supporting documentation to confirm their status)

4. Must NOT be an academic institute

5. Must conduct the main part of their business in one of the following areas:
(a) Advertising or PR
(b) Architecture
(c) Art and Antiques
(d) Crafts
(e) Design or Web design
(f) Designer Fashion
(g) Film and Video
(h) Computer games
(i) Music
(j) The performing arts
(k) Publishing
(l) Software
(m) Television and Radio

6. Must have been a going concern for at least 1 year with supporting accounts documentation

7. Must have professional indemnity insurance
