Composite Imaging ltd
Composite Imaging is a successful digital art consultancy offering original and bespoke artwork at affordable prices.
The company was founded in 2005 by professional artists and designers Paulette Bansal and Jackie Anderson.
Their vision was to use the latest digital technology to create high-quality yet affordable artworks for a wide range of customers – from small businesses to large corporates, architects to interior designers.
Unlike other art services, all of Composite’s designs are their own, which means they can be tailored to meet any requirement. The team can also work with a client’s own image or logo to create a one-off piece.
The business has an impressive client list, including major corporates such as Grant Thornton and Bruntwood Estates and privately-owned leisure centres, restaurants and bars.
It has also developed a niche market in the healthcare sector – providing inspiring pieces for NHS hospitals and private healthcare providers across the UK.
In each case, Composite’s aim is to transform the client’s chosen space – for example, providing a ‘wow factor’ for the reception area of a new office development or leisure centre, or relaxing pieces to calm patients in a hospital waiting area.
What’s different?
Composite stands out from other digital art services because:
•It provides high-quality pieces at value for money prices – including a free consultancy service to help customers choose the right piece for their location
•Every artwork is unique to the individual customer – created in the exact size, format and colours they require
•It offers an exceptionally wide choice of surfaces for reproducing designs – from traditional canvas to more unusual metal surfaces, and even waterproof acrylic art
•Clients can choose from an inspiring gallery of images, including everything from natural forms to architectural designs and abstracts.
Circle Health, day treatment centre
Composite Imaging produced striking circular artwork to welcome patients attending the UK’s largest independent sector day treatment centre, which opened in July 2008.
The series of 22 photographic images – produced by Composite Imaging for Circle Health, who operate the flagship centre –help to create a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
The artwork hangs in the reception area and in eight, ‘gateway’ waiting areas positioned around a striking circular atrium at the heart of the new building.
Ranging in diameter from 60cm to 120cm, the images include natural forms such as water, sand and wood – all echoing the circular theme.
Unusually, the images are not printed onto canvas but acrylic – providing a cutting-edge look to complement Circle’s contemporary building.

Splashback Launch
In May 2008, Digital art consultancy Composite Imaging has launched a stunning new range of waterproof art – perfect for luxury and boutique hotel bathrooms and spas.
The eye-catching designs – printed in full colour on easy-to-clean, waterproof acrylic – can be used as splashbacks for baths and basins or as freestanding art for a bathroom or spa setting.
The range includes striking abstract designs as well as relaxing images of natural forms such as pebbles, seaspray and palm leaves.
Sizes range from giant 170cm by 70cm bath panels to smaller designs in a choice of square, rectangular and circular formats. Bespoke designs and sizes can also be commissioned to meet a customer’s specific requirements.
Exclusive samples were previewed on the Clearwater stand at the KBB show – the UK’s largest trade exhibition for kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms – where they proved the perfect partner to Clearwater’s range of luxury freestanding baths.
Composite believe theirs is the first range of bathroom splashbacks and art to use acrylic – offering customers visual impact in an affordable and durable format.
Designs are available on 5mm and 10mm waterproof acrylic, in a wide range of sizes.
