Gross Margin Analysis
Client had an issue where system reports were available to provide limited profitability information but much of this was not available in detail until 10 days after the month-end.
By utilising some of the advanced features within Microsoft Excel, we were able to produce a line-by-line gross margin analysis by customer, by product including the ability to adust for rebates and discounts from suppliers. This report was then able to be produced daily, weekly or monthly
There were a number of benefits arising...
* up to date profitability analysis allowing focus on profitable sales & reduction in non-profitable ones
* by running on a weekly basis, credit notes or suplementary invoices could be produced during the month, thus reducing their impact on cash flow
* more accurate and timely profitability information

Labelling Software
Client needed the ability to convert orders received and input into their accounting system into a format that their labelling software could interact with.
This was more than a simple file conversion routine as some of the order data required manipulation before being transferred into the labelling software for use.
The benefits of the work were

Presentation Design
