Baby Monitor
A technology review and feasibility development project, looking at new technology implementation in an innovative range of Baby Monitors. A full costing exercise was conducted with industrial partners from Initial research, technology review and implementation, concept design and development, advanced prototyping to manufacturing and delivery strategy in the Far East.
The study was conducted on behalf of our client to assist with funding applications, planning and budget awareness prior to the project commencing.

Automated Urine Screening Machine
4D Products were commissioned to design and develop an innovative new machine for use in Hospital Laboratories. Our involvement began with reviewing an existing machine from an aesthetic, mechanical, cost, manufacture and assembly perspective. Our clear proposal covered a staged approached to design and develop a new machine that would be much more cost effective than the existing machine, easier and quicker to manufacture and assemble, be easier to use for the end user and be aesthetically pleasing. We followed a clear and simple proposal and have successfully delivered the project within time, under budget and the end result is already proving to be a great success for our client.

Cyto Genetic Harvester
4D Products were tasked with re designing the housing and assembly of a technically complex cyto-genetic harvesting machine. The brief included cost and space reduction, improved design of the user interactive elements, and simplifying production techniques. We delivered a system based on widely available manufacturing techniques suitable for low volume, high value equipment, that can now fit through a single lab door, allowing access to virtually all size of laboratories. This design is now in production and is being delivered to eager users by our client to genetic facilities throughout the world.
